Getting Started

After having a wonderful weekend and finishing the June Calendar for my art studio (score!) I started looking at my funkie tree gifts and jewels "stuff"- my website, unfinished, is a sign that at some point in time last year I thought I would have my gifts and jewelry shop up and running! While juggling mommyhood, pregnancy, full time job and my art studio I managed to order some beautiful pieces that were sold off our facebook fan page. They sold great! Now, I'm getting back into it and looking for cute, funky and hip items to make part of our inventory. I'll have items up for sale on our facebook fanpage again and hopefully will get that website finished- but in the meantime, my love for funkiness lives on :)

Pure Excitement.. Opening is getting closer!

Yay! This is Funkie Tree's first blog, and as of right now I'm the only one who can see it :) My hope is that Funkie Tree fills people's lives with peace, love and joy through providing products that make statements of peace, love and joy! Funkie Tree will be a tool of expression for many, because it will support its community and organizations that bring good to others.
